Michael L. Marcus focuses his practice of law on general litigation matters. Michael has represented clients in various types of civil litigation, business litigation, divorce and family law matters, criminal and municipal court cases, personal injury claims, real estate transactions and other types of legal matters throughout his career. He has successfully tried numerous cases on behalf of clients in New Jersey Superior Court, involving civil litigation and criminal cases and has represented clients in municipal court cases throughout the state during his tenure. Michael has also served as a Municipal Prosecutor
Michael previously served as in-house legal counsel for a large private company in New York City, where he handled an array of legal matters and duties. Upon returning to private practice, Michael has used his extensive legal knowledge and experience in private practice, along with the skills he has acquired as corporate counsel, to represent clients to achieve optimum results in an efficient and client-centered manner.
Michael prides himself in being an effective advocate and a problem solver for the clients he represents.
Michael was previously elected as a town councilman and was selected to serve as Deputy Mayor. His experience in municipal government has also given him additional skills and perspective in finding solutions for clients involved in various legal matters and disputes.
