Biography
Ms. Ashkenazi is a Partner at Wolfenson & Ashkenazi, P.C. Her current practice focuses on Real Estate matters, Wills, Trusts, and Estates (including Probate matters), as well as Guardianships. Additionally, she has been appointed by the Court to serve as counsel for the alleged incapacitated in Guardianship matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ashkenazi served as general counsel to a commercial and industrial real estate company, where she handled the management and legal side of leasing and acquisitions, as well as all compliance matters. Prior to that, she represented residential clients and sponsor sellers at Herrick, Feinstein LLP, and earned numerous pro bono awards, including the prestigious 2018 Milton Mollen Pro Bono Award. She started her career in Real Estate at a small firm and saw firsthand the importance of the family-like atmosphere when representing clients who are dealing with important life transactions and matters. For this reason, it was important to Ms. Ashkenazi to join Andrew Wolfenson at his firm so that she could continue to cultivate her client relationships and advance her practice. Prior to her work in Real Estate, her practice focused on representing abandoned, abused, and neglected children, as well as working with high net worth matrimonial actions.
Ms. Ashkenazi was named one of New Jersey's "Best Lawyers for Families" by NJ Family Magazine for three consecutive years, an award earned through client nomination. She looks forward to continuing to provide her clients with the highest level of service.
Ms. Ashkenazi is currently assisting ProjectKIND, as a legal advisor on a pro bono basis. In addition to her daily work schedule and pro bono work, she has been working with Urban Dance League, Inc. since 2013 in both a legal capacity and a board member style role; providing guidance and direction for new ideas and opportunities. Urban Dance League not only creates a platform for dancers but also creates programs and safe spaces for children which is extremely important to Ms. Ashkenazi.
At Franklin and Marshall College, Ms. Ashkenazi was a co-founder of S.I.S.T.E.R.S (Sophisticated, Intelligent, Sisters, Teaching, Excellence, Responsibility, and Success), and is proud that the organization has grown to more than 10x the size since its inception. S.I.S.T.E.R.S is an organization that promotes intelligence, empowerment, and unity among women and Ms. Ashkenazi is still involved with current and alumni members.
