At the law offices of Andrew M. Wolfenson, Esq., P.C., we have almost 25 years of experience handling probate matters for clients throughout northern and central New Jersey.
We know that taking the estate of a friend or loved one through the probate or estate administration process can be confusing and emotionally difficult.
Our Approach To Wills And Estate Planning
At our offices, we focus on providing the high level of personal attention you expect from a small law firm with the full range of services ordinarily associated with a large law practice.
If a friend or loved one has died and their estate needs to be settled, we will assist you with probate administration (if there was a will) or intestate administration (if there was no will). In probate administration, we handle all the necessary paperwork, including filing all probate documents at the Surrogate’s Office, tax returns and inheritance tax documents. If there is no will, we work with you to identify who is best suited to serve as administrator of the estate as well as potential heirs under New Jersey’s intestacy laws.
Getting legal advice is important for ensuring that the necessary documents are properly drafted and executed. Where remarriage or second families are involved, sorting out estate questions and property distribution rules become more complicated. Making sure your wishes are properly expressed and known, we offer you the best opportunity to ensure that they are carried out. Let our experience and knowledge work for you.
