Biography

Ms. Lapite is an Associate Attorney at Wolfenson & Ashkenazi, P.C. She attended Seton Hall School of Law, and received her Juris Doctorate in May 2020. She also attended the University at Buffalo, class of 2017, receiving her Bachelors of Art in Legal Studies and Counseling. While at Seton Hall School of Law, her main focus was providing legal advice to individuals who lacked the education and finances to receive adequate legal representation, which is why she enrolled in the Seton Hall Family Law Clinic. She was also a legal scholar for two years under the Public Interest Fellowship at Seton Hall Law School. While attending Law School, she was a mentor for the “For Girls Only Organization”, where she helped assist under-priviledged girls with college and job applications.

Her current practice focuses on Litigation and Criminal matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Lapite was an Assistant Prosecutor at the Passaic County Prosecutor’s office. During her time at the Prosecutor’s office she worked in the Domestic Violence unit, where she prosecuted violations of restraining orders, criminal contempts, detention hearings, and civil weapons forfeiture. She previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Patrick Bartels, J.S.C., in Mercer County for the 2020-2021 judicial term, where she researched various family law issues, drafted opinions, and provided guidance to the court in making decisions.

Ms. Lapite is a member of the Garden State Bar Association. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and engaging in sports such as swimming and track.
